Passion, perseverance and persistence are what psychologists call Grit: the ability to continue working toward a goal, no matter how hard it gets or how long it takes.
Being resilient is also an important trait you need to be Gritty. Responding resiliently to situations of failure and adversity are important to keep us focused and on track to achieve our goals.
We take inspiration from achievers and famous sportsmen who have reached their goals due to sheer determination and hard work. We will look at the importance of developing a growth mindset – the belief that success comes from effort and not a fixed mindset that people succeed because they are born with a gift of intelligence and talent.
As Nelson Mandela said, “It always seems impossible until it’s done”. This workshop will have you firing on all cylinders, equipped with the skills to gear yourself up to persevere and accomplish your goals despite the obstacles.
