Once you’ve joined, here’s how to earn your weekly reward ticket at either Cineworld or Vue:

  • Earn nine Vitality points for tracking your activity.
  • Log into the Member Zone or the Vitality Member app the following week to generate your personal cinema ticket code.
  • Enter your code/s on the cinema’s website when booking your tickets.
  • Collect your tickets at the cinema – and enjoy the film.

If you’re on Gold or Platinum Vitality status, you’ll automatically get a cinema ticket on us every week, as long as you maintain your Vitality status.

Changes to this reward from April 2017

From 3 April 2017 we’re changing the number of Vitality activity points you need to earn for a cinema ticket each week from nine to 12. This will apply to all members regardless of their Vitality status.

However, the target of nine Vitality activity points will still apply if you’re aged 70 years or older, or your BMI (body mass index) is 35 or over, as verified when you take a Vitality Healthcheck.  Find out more.

Here are a few of the questions we’ve answered for our members

Can anyone on my plan use the cinema ticket benefit?

Each member of your plan aged 18 or over can request codes for cinema tickets on the Member Zone, as long as they have completed their Health Review and have either earned nine Vitality points for getting active in the previous week, or are on Gold/Platinum Vitality status. Code/s will be sent by text message or email to the member who requested them. Cinema codes can only be used by members of your plan.

Does the cinema code have an expiry date?

Yes, once you have your code/s you'll need to use it to book your cinema ticket/s by the end of the week. A week runs from Monday to midnight on Sunday. We’ll show the expiry date with your code/s and also send it in the text message or email.

How do I earn Vitality points for getting active?

There are lots of ways you can earn Vitality points for getting active, like using an activity tracking device, working out at Virgin Active or taking part in a parkrun.

Important information

Cineworld and Vue are included on all Personal Healthcare plans.

Business Healthcare and Corporate Healthcare plans need to include Vitality Plus to be eligible for this reward.

If you have more than one adult on your plan, you each need to earn nine Vitality points per week for tracking your exercise to unlock a cinema ticket for every member on your plan. Maximum of one ticket per week for each person on your plan at either a Cineworld or Vue cinema.

Codes are not valid for viewings at Cineworld Leicester Square. Upgrades for 3D films, alternative content and special showings or extras like VIP seats available for an additional cost. Cinema ticket voucher codes can only be used by Vitality members. In absolutely no circumstances can voucher codes be sold or gifted to third parties by a member.
