Discount on hotels with Expedia
We’ve partnered with Expedia, to give you access to hotel discounts around the world. Depending on your Vitality status, you can earn 10% off worldwide hotel stays and make up to four bookings per plan year. The discount is on top of any seasonal or loyalty offers run by Expedia.
Expedia will be live on the Member Zone in April 2020.
How it works
You’ll get 10% off pre paid hotel stays. The number of bookings you can make per year is determine by your vitality status.

Discount on flights with Virgin Atlantic
Get 15% off all fares, classes and cabins with Virgin Atlantic Airways.
You can make up to four bookings each plan year depending on your Vitality status and once you’ve completed your online Health Review.

Get a Caffè Nero coffee reward every week
From April 2020, you will be able to enjoy a weekly hot drink with our new Active Rewards partner, Caffè Nero, on us. Earn at least 12 activity points a week and after you've bought your first coffee the following week, we’ll cover your next one.
You’ll be able to use the benefit in every Caffè Nero store in the UK from the high street, to service stations and airports.
Track your health with Apple Watch Series 5
Get a selected Apple Watch Series 5 from £99. Pay nothing more if you stay active and track your activity to earn Vitality points.
Any monthly payment you make will be between £0 and £12.50, depending on your level of activity during the previous month. You'll need to agree to a consumer credit agreement (0% APR) and set up a variable Direct Debit for 24 months.
Existing Apple Watch benefit with Vitality
If you have an Apple Watch through Vitality already, you are not able to upgrade your Apple Watch until your original benefit ends. This date can be found in Member Zone.
As long as your existing scheduled loan payment period is up, you can upgrade to Apple Watch Series 5 from £189 upfront. Any monthly payment you make will be between £0 and £8.75, depending on your level of activity during the previous month. Access to care advice and discounted care services
We’ve teamed up with SuperCarers, an online platform which helps you find the best care. As part of this, you and your immediate family will have access to advice about care and care services. And, if you or a member of your immediate family need access to care services, you can also get a 20% discount on the first £1,000 of ongoing care. If you have a VitalityLife plan with Later Life Options (Dementia and FrailCare Cover or Dementia and FrailCare Cover Plus), you’ll get 20% off the first £3,000 of any ongoing care.

Points and Healthchecks
To encourage you to take a broader view of your physical wellbeing, we’re increasing the number of ways you can earn Vitality points. If your key health indicators are in the healthiest category, we’re also making it easier for you to earn and retain points, by reducing the need for yearly Vitality Healthchecks.
Up to 80% off health screenings with Bluecrest
From 13 December 2019, Bluecrest will be our primary health screen provider, making it easier to take control of your health - and understand your key health numbers.
Depending on your Vitality Age Gap, you’ll now be able to save between 50% and 80% on one screening with Bluecrest per plan year. To qualify for the discount, you need to complete your Vitality Healthcheck.
You can book at one of 2,000 locations across the UK throughout the year - from the south coast to Inverness. We’re also significantly improving the discounts available to you.
As a result, you’ll no longer be able to use Nuffield Health and BMI Healthcare for your discounted health screenings. However, any health screenings you’ve already booked (until 1 February 2020) will be valid. You can find more details in Member Zone.
Other points and clinical changes
- If you have achieved ‘Green Zone’ results for any biometric readings (BMI, Blood Glucose, Blood Pressure and Cholesterol) in a Vitality Healthcheck, you’ll now get the Vitality points for those Green Zone readings automatically in the next plan year. This means you may only need a Vitality Healthcheck every two years.
- From 1 January 2020 we’ll no longer roll over 10% of your Vitality points into your next plan year.
- We’ll now base Vitality points for cholesterol readings on the ratio of total cholesterol to ‘good’ HDL (High-density Lipoprotein) cholesterol.
- BMI assessments will now also include a waist circumference measurement.
- You will no longer be able to earn Vitality points for ECG and Glaucoma test screenings.
- We’ll be adding a new range of screening activities which you can earn points for including points for an eye test every two years.
