Connect Withings and the Vitality Member app

This guide will explain how to set up your Withings device with Vitality

Before you begin

  • Register for Member Zone

    Once you've registered in the Member Zone, use your username and password to log in to the Vitality Member app

  • Compatibility check

    Make sure that your phone is compatible with your Withings device

Step 1 - Download the Withings Health Mate app

  1. Visit the Play Store on android or the App Store on iOS
  2. Search for Withings
  3. Download the Withings Health Mate app
  4. Open the Withings Health Mate app
  5. Tap ‘Sign up’ or ‘Log in’ if you already have an account

  1. Select your Withings device from the list by scrolling down and tapping your device
  2. If you don’t have your device yet you can continue without setting up a device by tapping ‘No product yet?’
  3. Follow the on screen instructions to complete the setup of your specific Withings watch

Step 3 - Create a Withings account

During the set up process you’ll need to to create an account.

  1. Fill in your email address and create a password for your account
  2. Agree to terms and policies
  3. Tap ‘Next’
  4. Follow the on screen instructions to complete your Withings account set up
Link your Withings account to Vitality

Step 4 - Link your Withings account to Vitality

  1. Go to the ‘Activity Tracker’ page in Member Zone
  2. Scroll down to Withings
  3. Tap ‘Link’
  4. Agree to the terms and conditions by tapping the tick box, then tap ‘Link your Withings account’

Step 5 - Allow Vitality to retrieve data from Withings

  1. You’ll then be prompted to sign in to your Withings account
  2. Once signed in, you’ll need to allow Vitality to have access to receive data from Withings by tapping ‘Allow this app’

Step 6 - Check that Withings is linked to Vitality

  1. You’ll now return to the ‘Activity Tracker’ page in Member Zone, where you’ll see a green tick and ‘Linked’ appear in the Withings section on the ‘Activity Tracker’ page

Sync your Withings data with Vitality

Step 7 - Sync your Withings data with the Vitality Member app

  1. Complete an activity using Withings
  2. Open the Withings app and the Vitality Member app
  3. Leave the Vitality Member app in the background as an open window
  4. Make sure you sync your activity by midnight on Sunday

Please note

In high demand periods, it can take up to 48 hours to sync your Withings data to the Vitality Member app and for your Vitality activity points to appear on the Vitality Plan Points Statement. We ask you not to close and open the apps again until the 48 hours have passed, as refreshing multiple times can overload your account and stop the data coming through. If you then close and open your Vitality Member app again after this period, your points will be showing on your statement.
