Who we are

We’re an insurance company that’s shaking up more than just the insurance world. In August 2015, our parent company Discovery was named by Fortune magazine as one of the top 51 companies in their Change the World list. We were the only insurer to make the list, ahead of brands like IBM, Nike and Unilever.

That’s because our ambition isn’t simply to be the UK’s best health and protection insurer: it’s to be a force for social good, about having a real impact on society and making a positive difference in the world.

In the UK, we currently have two thriving businesses: Vitality Health, providing private medical insurance; and Vitality Life, offering a full range of protection products. A third business, Vitality Invest, offering investment products, is due to be launched in 2018. Finally, working out of our Richmond Hill office in Bournemouth are our appointed representatives Insure Your Health. Where we're based

You could be working in one of four fantastic offices – or somewhere even closer to home.


Based in the heart of the City, our beautiful new London Vitality office is just a short walk from Bank station, Liverpool St and Monument. You’ll find some of London’s most recognisable landmarks within walking distance of the office, including St Pauls’ Cathedral, the Tate modern and the Tower of London, so there’s no shortage of things to do and see when you need a break from work. With around 150 people based here, it’s home to many teams including Marketing, Compliance and Risk, Actuarial and Legal.

With its long, sandy beaches and a vast array of shops and restaurants, our Bournemouth Vitality office is based in one of the most popular beach-side towns in the country. Situated at the top of Richmond Hill, our Bournemouth Vitality office is home to over 500 employees and includes Customer Services, Adviser services, Underwriting, Marketing, HR, Health Claims and IT support, while also being home to our appointed representatives Insure Your Health. We’re also proud to sponsor the home of our local football team, AFC Bournemouth, which is now named the Vitality Stadium.

Seven miles southeast of Manchester, our Stockport Vitality office is a 15 minute walk from the train station.  Vitality teams based here include Customer Services, Direct Sales, Consultant Services and Vitality support.  Our teams in Stockport have been steadily growing and we now have over 600 people based here. We’ve recently installed a fantastic new restaurant so people can enjoy healthy meals and snacks throughout the day.

Located in the most connected urban centre in the South-East of England, next to West Croydon station and only five minutes from East Croydon, the landmark Interchange Croydon building is home to several functions of our Vitality Invest business.

Spending most of their week in the field supporting our independent financial adviser network or our group scheme members, Sales and Account Manager teams are largely home-based. At the same time, as part of our commitment to a healthy work-life balance, we also give you the chance to incorporate remote-working, as long as it’s practical for your role.
