Spot Stanley Competition – Terms and Conditions

This competition is open to all Eligible Participants who comply with these terms and conditions, as set out below. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award a Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

For the purposes of these terms and conditions, the following terms shall have the meanings set out below:

“Draw Date” means Tuesday 20th May 2025;

“Competition Period” means the opening hours of Goodwoof (i.e. between 9am and 5pm on each day of the event);

“Eligible Participant” means any individual aged 18 years or over and resident in the United Kingdom, who complies with these terms and conditions, but excluding all members of staff of the Promoter and their families and any third parties or agencies connected with or involved in the administration of this competition;

“Goodwoof” means the Dog Show & Event taking place on the Goodwood Estate on the 17th May 2025 and the 18th May 2025;

“Prize” means either:

a £1,000 Mr & Mrs Smith Gift Card; or 

a £50 Amazon Gift Card; and

“Promoter” means Vitality Corporate Services Limited (company number 05933141) of 3 More London Riverside, London SE1 2AQ trading as VitalityHealth and VitalityLife.

Eligible Participants may enter the draw for the Prize by:

Locating all four “Stanley the dachshund” statues on the “Vitality Woodland Walk” taking place on each of the two days of Goodwoof; and

Submitting the secret message that is made up of the four words on the pink collar of each Stanley statute via a QR code made available by the Promoter at Goodwoof;

All Eligible Participants will be automatically entered into the prize if they submit the correct message via the QR code and supply the details requested as part of this submission using the form provided.

On the Draw Date, eleven (11) winners will be randomly selected from the total number of prize draw entries to receives Prize. There will be one winner of the Mr & Mrs Smith Gift Card Prize and ten (10) winners of the Amazon Gift Card Prize. Only one Prize per Eligible Participant is permitted.

Winners will be informed that they have won their Prize via the email address they provided when submitting their form, within two weeks of the closing of the Competition Period. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter’s communication within 3 days, they will forfeit the prize and another winner will be chosen. 

Winners will receive their Prize via the email address they provided when submitting their form to the Promoter, within thirty (30) days of providing a confirmatory response to the Promoter’s initial communication informing them that they have won a Prize.

The Prize is not transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any Prizes lost, stolen or unsuccessfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.

The Promoter reserves the right to void, cancel, suspend, or amend the competition where it considers it to be necessary to do so, including in the event of fraudulent behaviour.

The winners will be subject to the terms and conditions relating to their Prize, as determined by either Mr & Mrs Smith or Amazon.

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the chosen participants or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. The statutory rights of Eligible Participants are not affected.

These terms and conditions will be governed by English law and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions in its sole discretion on the provision of written notice or via its website.

Your name, email address and postal address will be requested during the process of providing the Prize. This data will be stored in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy notice (which can be found on https://www.vitality.co.uk/privacy/ or which can be requested from the Promoter).
