Dr Harpreet Sarna

Dr Harpreet Sarna is Vitality Health’s Chief Medical Officer and Responsible Officer. In this role he leads Vitality’s work in clinical leadership, policy, innovation, quality and medical underwriting. Harpreet’s career has spanned multiple markets and he has worked in life sciences at Pfizer, medical risk and litigation at the Medical Protection Society (the largest global mutual indemnifier for health professionals) and held various roles in clinical practice spanning general practice, psychiatry, hospital and palliative medicine. He has a passion for high-quality, sustainable and accessible health solutions – that meets population and customer needs – and encompasses wellness, prevention and great care. Harpreet is also a Trustee at a national drugs, alcohol and mental health charity, and a keen sportsman playing lots of racquet sports, football and strength training.

Dr Katie Tryon is the Chief Commercial Director for Vitality Health in the UK. In this role she leads Vitality’s work in behaviour change and health improvement, and primary, secondary and tertiary care for members. Prior to this, Katie lived in Kenya for seven years where she served as the Head of Health Strategy for IBM Africa and more recently as Head of Strategy and New Projects for CarePay, a health tech financing platform. Earlier in Katie’s career she was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey and prior to this trained as a medical doctor at Oxford University and Imperial College London. Katie is passionate about the development of sustainable healthcare systems and continues to pursue this through the Vitality model.

Before joining Vitality, she co-founded a multidisciplinary post-cancer recovery service and has authored national consensus guidance in urology. Marie also serves on national committees for the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) and the BURST Research Collaborative and continues to be active in research, education, and standards of care.

Her focus now is on scaling patient-centred care through digital transformation, always with an eye on equity and impact.
