Apple Watch orders with Vitality

You can order selected Apple Watch models with Vitality. Apple Watch models may differ for members who have previously taken out the Apple Watch offer with Vitality. Please visit Member Zone for more details.

Apple Watch payments and Vitality activity points

Apple Watch Series 6 starts at £379. 

Eligible Vitality members will make an initial upfront payment from £37 followed by 36 monthly payments of between £0 and £9.50. The upfront payment will vary depending on the model they choose, but the monthly payments are still between £0 and £9.50.

To fully fund the balance of your Apple Watch, earn 160 Vitality activity points every month and stay with us for the entire loan period. Take a look at all the ways you can earn Vitality activity points.

Will I pass the credit check for an Apple Watch order?

Apple Watch with Vitality is offered on a 0% APR credit loan agreement with etika. When you order an Apple Watch with Vitality, you’ll set up an account with etika.

Your eligibility to order an Apple Watch with Vitality will therefore depend on the decision to approve your credit.

Orders and returns

Upfront payments and monthly contributions differ, depending on which Apple Watch model you choose and how many monthly activity points you earn.

For members who have not previously taken out Apple Watch with Vitality:

  • Apple Watch Series 6 starts from £37 upfront
  • Apple Watch SE starts from £17 upfront.

For members who have previously taken out Apple Watch on their Vitality Plan:

  • Apple Watch Series 6 starts from £145

You can order one Apple Watch per plan. So if there is more than one adult on a plan, only one adult member will be able to order an Apple Watch.

AppleCare+ for Apple Watch is an insurance product that provides up to two years of telephone technical support and hardware coverage, including up to two incidents of accidental damage, each subject to a £49 excess fee. In addition, you get 24/7 priority access to Apple experts by chat or phone.

Vitality don’t include AppleCare+, but you can buy it directly from Apple.

We’d encourage you to visit the Apple Store first to try on different models and find your preferred design before buying one through Vitality. However, you can cancel your Apple Watch benefit and receive a full refund for your initial upfront payment at any time during your 14 day cooling off period, which begins on the day your Apple Watch is delivered. If you accidentally close the window during the Apple Watch order process, before you've clicked ‘Proceed to payment’, you’ll have to start again.

Once you’ve clicked ‘Proceed to payment’, you won’t be able to make any changes to your Apple Watch order.

If you click ‘Proceed to payment’ and close the window before registering for or logging into etika, you’ll have 48 hours to register or log in to continue the order.

After 48 hours, if you’ve not registered or logged in to etika, you’ll have to start again.

To start again, select the 'Choose your Apple Watch' button on the Apple Watch page in Member Zone.

An order will not be placed until you’ve made a payment.

If you want to speak to Vitality customer services about your Apple Watch order, you’ll need your Vitality reference number.

Please note: the Vitality reference number is not your Vitality membership number.

You’ll be able to find the Vitality reference number on your order confirmation and dispatch emails.

Once you’ve started earning Vitality activity points, you’ll also be able to find your Vitality reference number on the right hand sidebar of the Apple Watch page under ‘Partners and rewards’ within Member Zone online.

We'll send you an email with an estimated delivery date when your Apple Watch is ready for dispatch.

Once your Apple Watch has been dispatched, you’ll get a text message giving you the option to change the delivery date, arrange delivery to a safe place or neighbour or to collect your Apple Watch from a local depot.

Please note that you can’t amend the delivery address once your Apple Watch has been dispatched.

Apple Watch are only able to deliver to a UK business or residential address. They’re unable to deliver to BFPO (British Forces Post Office) addresses.

For any other queries on delivery, you can freephone DHL on 02476 937 770. Simply provide your tracking or consignment number so they’re able to locate your delivery details.

If you think that your Apple Watch has been damaged in transit, for example the box is crushed or the screen is cracked, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Damaged within 90 days of delivery:

Dead on Arrival:

If your Apple Watch is non-operational upon first use, you can contact the AppleCare team for a free diagnosis over the phone. If confirmed dead on arrival, Vitality can request a return of the unit. Your AppleCare Case ID must then be provided. Full credit will be given once the watch has been received.

Not dead on arrival: 

If the issue appears after the first use, the Apple one year Warranty applies. You can contact the AppleCare team for a free diagnosis over the phone. A physical inspection may be required by an approved Apple service provider – just so you know, fees may apply. If the examination reveals that it is a manufacturer defect, the unit will be repaired or exchanged for free with AppleCare.

Apple also offer a 90-day Complimentary Support on their new devices.

Damaged between 90 days to one year from activation:

If your Apple Watch is damaged between 90 days to one year from activation, the Apple one year warranty may apply. You can contact the AppleCare team for a phone diagnosis or visit an approved Apple service provider where a physical inspection may be required – just so you know fees may apply.  

If the inspection reveals that it is a manufacturer defect, the unit will be repaired or exchanged for free with AppleCare. 

If the issue is revealed as non-manufacturer related defect, a quote for repair costs will be provided to you.

Damaged more than one year from unit activation: 

If your Apple Watch is damaged more than one year from activation, the device will not be covered by AppleCare and must be inspected by an official Apple service provider – just so you know fees may apply. 
If the inspection reveals that there is a manufacturer/software defect which is covered under the Consumer Law Claim, the unit will be repaired or exchanged for free by the approved Apple service provider who will then seek reimbursement from Apple. 

If the issue is revealed to be non-manufacturer related or not covered under the Consumer Law Claim, a quote for the repair cost, including parts, will be provided to you.
 

If you need to return your Apple Watch, please get in contact with us as quickly as possible.

You must return your Apple Watch within the 14 day cooling-off period.

Eligibility for this offer is subject to financial circumstances and status.
