Covering the costs of treatment
We have two types of cancer cover for you to choose from. Everyone gets our comprehensive Cancer Cover as part of Core Cover. For an additional premium, you can also choose our Extended Cancer Cover, which provides full cover for biological therapies, and hormone or bisphosphonate therapies.

Frequently asked questions
Do you cover cancer drugs that haven't yet been approved by NICE?
However, we don't cover the use of drugs outside the terms of their licence in the UK; or experimental drugs with no evidence of effectiveness; or any treatment not considered clinically appropriate in the UK.
Can I receive cancer treatment at home?

What if my cancer can't be treated?
If you have Cancer Cover and your cancer is no longer treatable, we pay for palliative care in hospital. If you have Extended Cancer Cover and your cancer is no longer treatable, we pay for home nursing care to relieve your symptoms, including pain relief at the end stage, up to a maximum of £1,000 a day for 14 days.
