How to make an Optical, Dental or Hearing claim

If you have this benefit as part of your health cover, here's how to make a claim

Our preferred optical and hearing provider is changing

From 9th September 2026, we are introducing Boots Opticians as an optical network partner. Rest assured, your optical benefits remain the same and your cover still helps towards the cost of sight tests, glasses and contact lenses. At the same time, Boots Hearingcare will become our hearing network provider, giving you access to an enhanced hearing benefit. You can read more about how this will affect what you can claim for below, in the ‘What’s covered?’ section

What is Optical, dental and hearing insurance?

The Optical, Dental and Hearing module is an optional add-on to health insurance plans, which covers you for certain health costs including dental work like hygienist appointments and emergency treatment, as well as vision and hearing tests, and more.

You can see if you have this benefit by logging into the Member Zone and checking your plan terms and conditions, or looking for the Optical Dental and Hearing benefit on the Manage My Plan page.
