What is later life and dementia insurance?

As we’re living longer, more of us are likely to develop conditions in the future that may need expensive ongoing care, like Dementia, Alzheimer's or Parkinson’s. Our Dementia and FrailCare Cover is designed to help towards the cost of care of these later-life conditions.

With our cover, you could get a lump sum payment, based on how much the condition affects your lifestyle. This payment can help cover day-to-day expenses or help manage costs for care.

Dementia and FrailCare Cover is automatically included on qualifying plans with our Serious Illness Cover. Total Permanent Disability must not have been excluded.

Any remaining Serious Illness Cover at the end of your term converts into Dementia and FrailCare Cover if premiums are kept up to date.*

*The amount depends on previous claims.
