If you buy a qualifying plan, you could get up to 20% off on up to four hotel bookings a year. Get active and track your activity to earn a Vitality status. The higher your status, the bigger the reward.

The Expedia discount will apply to the first £750 spend before taxes and charges. Bookings must be made from 31 August 2023 - 31 August 2024 for the travel period 31 August 2023 - 28 February 2025 inclusive. These dates will be reviewed annually.

The higher your Vitality status, the larger your discount on four hotel bookings a year.

What is a qualifying plan for the Expedia hotel discount?

You’ll qualify for the Expedia reward if you have one of the following plans:

10-20% discount
Health insurance
Any private health insurance plan.

Business health insurance
Any small business health insurance plan

Any corporate health insurance plan or trust scheme administered by VitalityHealth with Vitality Plus included.

Life Insurance
Any life insurance plan with Vitality Plus benefits. To get Vitality Plus, you'll need to:
• Pay at least £45 a month for an individual plan, or £60 a month for a joint plan and;
• Add Optimiser onto your life insurance plan for an extra £4.75 a month.

10% discount
Workplace Wellbeing
Any Vitality at Work plan.

Business health insurance
Any corporate health insurance plan or trust scheme administered by VitalityHealth with Vitality Select included.

Life insurance
Any life insurance plan with Vitality Select.

Can I get the Expedia hotel discount if my plan doesn't include Vitality Plus benefits?

If your plan comes with Vitality Select benefits instead, you can still qualify for this reward. You can also qualify if you have a Vitality at Work plan.

If you get active and earn a Vitality status, you can get 10% off up to four hotel bookings a year:

Bronze status – 10% off one hotel booking
Silver status – 10% off two hotel bookings
Gold status – 10% off three hotel bookings
Platinum status – 10% off four hotel bookings.

Do I need to have an Expedia account set up?

Do I need to have an Expedia account set up
No, if you don't have an Expedia account set up, you'll need to provide your name, contact number and email address to create an account when you book a hotel. You can sign up here for an Expedia account and the Expedia Rewards loyalty programme here.

Is there a minimum spend when using the Expedia discount?

Yes, the minimum spend before the discount is £10 – this excludes any taxes, fees or additional costs.
