Vitality partners with the Telegraph Vitality Junior Golf Championship

Vitality has become the new title sponsor of the Telegraph Vitality Junior Golf Championship. The competition, which launched in 1985, aims to recognise and celebrate grassroots golf and has seen many past champions go on to reach the highest levels of the professional and amateur games.

Approximately 1,000 golf clubs hold qualifying events each year that attract over 40,000 junior golfers, making it the biggest junior golf competition in the world. The Telegraph Vitality Junior Golf Championship is open to any golf club in the UK and ROI.

The Telegraph Vitality Finals will be staged at the Quinta do Lago in Portugal, the world-leading resort which has staged the last four Junior Championships.

Neville Koopowitz, CEO at Vitality, said: “We’re delighted to be the title sponsor of the Telegraph Vitality Junior Golf Championship. This great event has helped launch the careers of some of the best British and Irish junior golfers who in turn help inspire other young people to actively engage in sport and live healthy lives.”
