Vitality launches new physiotherapy service, carers support and discounted screening for members

Vitality has announced a series of new healthcare partners to help better support members and their loved one’s health.

Members will now be able to access discounted health screening, carer advice and an additional musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy service, further bolstering the comprehensive services Vitality Health, Life and Invest members can already access.

New physiotherapy service
A new partnership with leading independent physiotherapy service Ascenti, which will deliver musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy to Vitality members nationwide. The digital physiotherapy service, PhysioCare, will be fully integrated with Ascenti’s bespoke patient workflow system meaning that Ascenti physiotherapists will be able to provide Vitality members with video exercises, track their progress and adjust rehabilitation programmes accordingly. Vitality members will be able to book appointments directly through the service, have virtual consultations with Ascenti clinicians and be able to carry out exercises in the comfort of their own home, with access to guided videos that can be downloaded and viewed at any time.

An extension in remit to current partner, Bluecrest, who will now be the primary health screen provider for Vitality members. All eligible Vitality members will be able to receive savings of up to 80% on Bluecrest Health Screening tests at over 2,000 roaming clinics, located in convenient and relevant locations throughout the UK. Eligible Vitality Health, Life and Invest members will be able booking screenings via the Vitality Member Zone. Health screenings cover lung function, liver, kidney and heart disease, along with a complete overview of stroke risk, heart, artery and blood health. Health assessments will take around 30 - 40 minutes, and members will be provided with a personalised Health Report which will highlight areas they need to focus on to improve their health.  Where results require urgent or immediate attention the member will be directed to the appropriate care.
