Terms and conditions
- The eligibility criteria for this benefit (the “Healthy Food Benefit”) are:
- Vitality members will qualify for the respective discount levels in the table at clause 4 below (the “Table”) as follows:
(a) a member covered on one of the following qualifying plans will be eligible for the discount in column A of the Table (up to 25% discount):
• a VitalityHealth Personal Healthcare plan;
• a Business Healthcare plan, excluding members with Vitality Essentials;
• a VitalityHealth Corporate Healthcare plan or Healthcare Trust with Vitality Plus; or
• a VitalityLife plan with Vitality Plus with a minimum monthly premium of £45 required (excluding any fees for Vitality Plus).
(b) a member who is a “Vitality Pink Member” will be eligible for the discount in column B of the Table (up to 40% discount). For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, a Vitality Pink Member is someone who concurrently holds one of the qualifying VitalityHealth plans listed in clause 1(i)(a) above and any VitalityLife plan with Vitality Plus; and - be aged 18 or over;
- have completed your Health Profile in the Vitality Member app; and
- be a member of Waitrose’s myWaitrose scheme and have linked your Vitality plan to your myWaitrose account.
- Vitality members will qualify for the respective discount levels in the table at clause 4 below (the “Table”) as follows:
- Subject to clauses 4 and 5 below, Vitality members who are eligible for the Healthy Food Benefit will be able to receive a cashback (the “Healthy Foods Cashback”) on the amount they spend (either in-store or online) on certain Waitrose products (the “Waitrose Good Health Range”) in a given calendar month. Any amounts spent at Welcome Break motorway services, Shell petrol stations, Waitrose Cookery School and/or the Leckford Estate Farm Shop & Cafe will not be included when calculating the spend upon which the cashback will be based. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, a calendar month is calculated from the first day of the month to midnight on the last day of the month - e.g. January 1st- January 31st.
- The full list of items included in the Waitrose Good Health Range can be found here: waitrose.com/ecom/shop/browse/groceries/dietary_and_lifestyle/healthy_options/waitrose_good_health. This range can be changed at any time by Waitrose and Vitality. The Healthy Food Cashback only applies to food items on this list. All drinks in the Good Health range, with the exception of milk and milk substitutes, are excluded.
- The level of the Healthy Food Cashback each month will be determined in accordance with the following table:

The Healthy Food Cashback applies up to a maximum monthly spend of £100 for individual plans and £200 for plans with two or more adult members. Once you reach the applicable maximum monthly spend, any spend over and above these amounts will not be included for the purposes of calculating the Healthy Food Cashback. If the Healthy Food Cashback is unused in a given month, the balance cannot be carried over into further months.
- Only one adult Vitality member on each Vitality plan can be linked to the Healthy Food Benefit. For joint and family plans, the activity points used to determine the Healthy Food Cashback will be the activity points of the linked member.
- The Healthy Food Cashback due to members each month will be calculated on the first calendar day of the following month and will be paid into the bank account of the principal member on the linked Vitality plan(s) on or around the 20th of that month.
- Waitrose’s delivery coverage may change from time to time. Their current delivery coverage can be checked on their website.
- There is a £60 minimum online spend to qualify for Waitrose free delivery. Delivery slots are subject to availability.
- Vitality activity points earned through any active partner or device accepted by Vitality will be taken into account when calculating the Healthy Food Cashback.
- Your registered myWaitrose account must be current, valid, issued in your name and for personal use only. Vitality reserves the right to cancel or refuse the linking of your myWaitrose account with Vitality under this offer if Vitality reasonably believes you have knowingly registered another person's myWaitrose account or provided false or misleading information to my Waitrose, or are attempting to do so.
- You agree that, in order to calculate the level of Healthy Food Cashback, Vitality and Waitrose will exchange information regarding your myWaitrose account and any purchases of products you make from Waitrose.
- Waitrose vouchers and existing offers will be accepted in conjunction with the Healthy Food Cashback, which will be applied to the net spend on eligible Waitrose products after these vouchers or offers have been applied.
- In the event that your Vitality plan or employer’s medical health scheme is cancelled or you withdraw from your employer’s medical health scheme at any time, you will not be entitled to any Vitality Healthy Food Cashback after your cover has ceased.
- This benefit cannot be used by non-Vitality members. Passing on your Healthy Food Cashback to non-members is considered fraud and may result in your Vitality benefits being withdrawn.
- This offer is non-transferable and non-exchangeable.

- Vitality reserves the right to amend or withdraw this offer to you at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to where Vitality determines, at its absolute discretion, that the offer is being misused due to you frequently returning items you have purchased from the Waitrose Good Health Range.
