Join us, get active, link your My Starbucks Rewards account to your online Vitality profile and we’ll add a drink to your My Starbucks Rewards account the following week.

You need to earn and upload 12 Vitality activity points in a week to get your Starbucks drink for the following week.

You can collect your drink from every Thursday at participating Starbucks coffee shops.

If you’re aged 70 years or older, or your BMI (body mass index) is 35 or over as verified by your Vitality Healthcheck, you'll need to earn just nine Vitality activity points in a week to receive this reward.

What happens if I don't redeem my drink each week?

Once your drink has been credited to your My Starbucks Rewards account you need to redeem it within seven days. If you don’t redeem your drink within seven days, it will expire.

How do I earn Vitality activity points?

There are lots of ways you can earn Vitality activity points, like using an activity tracking device, working out at a Virgin Active or Nuffield Health gym, or taking part in a parkrun.

Can I use my reward for non-handcrafted drinks such as a bottle of water?

Your Starbucks reward can only be used for a drink that has been made for you, such as a coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

What if I can't use an app?

If you can’t use an app, then you can also use a Starbucks Card (available from selected Starbucks stores). Simply register the card on the Starbucks website, load it with £5 credit and then log into to link it to Vitality.

Why do some members only need to earn Vitality activity points in a week for this reward?

We want to encourage all of our members to engage in healthy habits, but understand that this can be difficult for some. We believe that setting a lower threshold for those with a high BMI or those aged 70 or over, will make it easier for them to engage and improve their health. If a member reduces their BMI to below 35, the weekly Vitality activity points target will increase to 12.

** Starbucks is included on all Personal Healthcare plans. If you have a Life plan, you’ll need to add Wellness Optimiser or Vitality Optimiser for an additional monthly fee of £4.50 plus have a minimum monthly premium of £30 on single policies and £40 on joint policies. You can add Vitality Plus to your VitalityInvest Retirement Plan in drawdown for an additional fee of £4.50 per month. Vitality Plus is not available on other VitalityInvest plans.

Corporate Healthcare plans and trust schemes administered by VitalityHealth need to include Vitality Plus to be eligible for this reward.

This offer applies to drinks handcrafted by a Starbucks barista only and excludes Venti-sized drinks and seasonal featured drinks. For this benefit a week runs from Monday to Sunday.  You must complete the activity and upload your data to your devices account by Sunday evening each week to be eligible for a drink the following week.

Drinks will not be awarded retrospectively. Your drink will be awarded to your My Starbucks Rewards account on the Thursday following the previous week’s exercise. You can only redeem drinks at participating Starbucks stores. Each adult member on your plan will need to link their own My Starbucks Rewards account to Vitality to be eligible for drinks.
